Apartment, Condo, and Stucco Walk-Up Moves Done Right

Apartment moves in the West Valley have their own logistics: the leasing office that needs a certificate of insurance on file, the elevator window in the Westgate-area mid-rises that has to be reserved, the third-floor stucco walk-ups along Bell Rd where there is exactly one staircase and no freight option. TLC sorts all of it before move day so the crew is carrying boxes instead of arguing with a property manager at 8 a.m. Sage handles the COI and emails it to your building and ours, usually a week before the date.

We move apartments, condos, and the third-floor stucco walk-ups common across Glendale, Peoria, and the older 59th Ave corridor: tight stairwells, landings that barely let a sectional turn, and unit doors that always measure shorter than the box-spring inside. Our crews are good in that geometry. Shoulder dollies, stair straps, and a willingness to stand a sofa on end when that is the only way it clears the third-floor turn keep walls from getting gouged on the way down.

Elevator windows, parking, and Phoenix-summer heat

If the building runs a freight elevator on a reservation system, Sage books your window and we pad the car interior. If it is a third-floor stucco walk-up off Bell or Cactus Rd, we plan the carry route and stage cartons so nobody is bottlenecked. In tight downtown Glendale parking — Murphy Park, Catlin Court, the Westgate periphery — we scope a legal loading zone in advance so the truck sits close and the hourly clock isn’t ticking on a long curb haul. In peak summer we still pull the 5 a.m. start so the carry is done before midday heat in a south-facing stairwell turns brutal.

  • Certificate of insurance issued to your building before move day, limits to match
  • Freight elevator reservation booked and the car padded for the carry
  • Stucco walk-up stair carries planned with shoulder dollies and lifting straps
  • Loading-zone arrangements around Westgate and downtown Glendale parking
  • Quilted padding on landings, corners, and unit-door turn-ins
  • Studio $450 to $650, 1-bedroom $710 to $1,050, 2-bedroom $1,180 to $1,750 flat bands

Whether it is a studio over a Catlin Court shop or a 2-bedroom condo in Arrowhead, we make the COI and the tight stairwell our problem, not yours. Call (888) 711-4778 to book and Sage will get the building paperwork rolling.

How TLC Handles the Day

From the First Walk-Through to the Last Picture on the Wall

1

Walk Us Through It

Two ZIPs, the day, and a rough room count from you. A binding written rate back from Tessa in under an hour, on the house.

2

Binding Quote, Same Business Hour

Tessa puts the binding figure on the page within the hour. Truck, padded crew, runners, dollies and shrink wrap are all inside the line item, with no hourly clock running underneath.

3

We Load, Drive, and Reset

Mason or Jude drops the gate, the crew steps out of the truck in uniform, runners go down on every tile and hardwood doorway before a single box leaves the porch, and wrap every piece, drive the haul ourselves, and rebuild the rooms at the new address.

Service FAQ

Can you issue a COI for my apartment complex?
Yes, and Sage usually has it sent before the leasing office even asks. She matches the building's required limits, names the property as additional insured, and emails copies to you and to management so move-in is not held up at the front desk.
Do you book the freight elevator?
We do. We coordinate the reservation with building management, pad the elevator car interior before the first carry, and time the load around your window so the crew is not stuck waiting for a slot somebody else grabbed.
What about a third-floor stucco walk-up with no elevator?
Common across the Bell Rd and 59th Ave corridors, and routine for us. The crew scouts the stairwell ahead, brings shoulder dollies and lifting straps for sectionals and king mattresses, and pads the landings and the unit doorway before anything heavy comes through.
Parking around Westgate is brutal — how do you handle it?
We scope the legal loading zone in advance so the truck parks close and the carry stays short. Half the trick on a downtown Glendale move is keeping the hourly clock off a 200-foot curb haul, and pre-planned parking is how we do that.
What will an apartment move cost?
Flat bands run $450 to $650 for a studio, $710 to $1,050 for a 1-bedroom, $1,180 to $1,750 for a 2-bedroom. Hourly at $145/hr for a 2-mover crew is an option for tighter loads — Tessa will tell you which math wins for your unit.

If you know the day you need the truck, Mason walks the rest with you, room by room.
