Winter months we shift back to a 7 a.m. start once the weather drops.
What does the white-glove TLC treatment actually include?
Floor runners over every section of tile, hardwood, and saltillo the load passes over, before the first piece comes in. Corner guards on every doorway turn-in where furniture has to pivot through a casing. Quilted pads and shrink wrap on antique armoires, hutches, china cabinets, and anything with a finished face. Gentle disassembly and labeled hardware bags on beds, tables, and dressers. And a crew that walks the load instead of dragging it — none of the cheap-quote habits of stacking boxes on a sectional or sliding a dresser across an inlaid entry. Is there a deposit to lock in a date, and how does that work?
Yes — a $175 deposit holds your date on our calendar, and it applies straight to the final total rather than being an extra charge. Until that deposit is in, the slot stays open to anyone, so for spring and fall weekends and the end of the month it is worth reserving early. Snowbird-season weeks in October and April book out two to three weeks ahead most years.
On a long-distance move, is it the same TLC crew the whole way?
Yes, and Mason will not run it any other way. How does cargo insurance and valuation coverage work?
Every shipment carries released-value protection at $0.60 per pound at no extra charge, which is the federal household-goods baseline. We also hold cargo coverage up to $1,000,000 per shipment, and you can upgrade to full-value protection if you want a damaged or lost item covered at its actual replacement cost rather than by weight. Tessa walks both options through before you sign anything, and a claim window of nine months stays open under the federal rules.
Do you move into and out of the gated communities and 55-plus areas?
Constantly. Vistancia, Arrowhead Ranch, Trilogy, and the gated builds in Goodyear and Surprise are regular work for us — Sage confirms the gate code and the HOA-approved move window with the guard desk a few days before the date. Sun City and Sun City West run their own quiet-hour rules that we plan around, and the patient pace of a 55-plus downsizing move is one of the things Mason built the crew around in the first place. What if the monsoon hits on my move day?

We watch the NWS forecast every morning during monsoon and will call you the night before if the timing needs to shift. If the truck is mid-route when a storm hits, the load gets covered, the crew pulls into the closest safe spot, and we wait it out. No charge for the delay.
Can you handle a labor-only or load-help job if I already have a U-Haul or PODS?
Yes, our labor-only crew runs at $95 per hour for two movers with no truck. That is the same TLC W-2 crew that handles our regular jobs, not a day-labor subcontract. We will load, unload, or do an in-home staging shuffle on whatever rental truck, trailer, PODS container, or U-Box you have parked at the curb, and the pads and dollies come with us if you do not have them.
Do you offer storage if my closing date slips?
We do. Closings around the West Valley slip more often than anyone would like — escrow stretches a week, the inspection turns up something, the seller backs out of a date. When that happens we can hold your shipment in our climate-controlled storage bay and deliver once your new place is ready. Your furniture stays with TLC the whole time, no third-party warehouse and no extra handling, so the same crew that loaded carries it back out when the new closing finally goes through.
